The Spartan Ultra combines ultra-running with obstacle course racing, featuring a 50K course and 60 obstacles for a tough endurance challenge.
Designed for endurance athletes, the Ultra covers at least 50K. Finishers earn a unique belt buckle, an Ultra-branded shirt, and a wedge medal.
The Spartan Ultra counts as the Beast in the Spartan Trifecta. To complete a Trifecta, you still need to finish a Sprint/Stadion and a Super.
Finishing one Ultra counts as one Trifecta piece. You must complete the full course for it to count; partial completion does not qualify as a Beast. More details on the Trifecta can be found here.
